Search is evolving fast. You should understand how content performs not just on Google, but across AI-driven search, answer engines, and generative platforms. That means building strategies for AEO and GEO alongside traditional SEO. You’ll work closely with strategists, writers, and designers to turn insights into growth that’s measurable and meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
- Conduct keyword research, search intent mapping, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead on page and technical SEO efforts, including site audits, indexing, crawlability, internal linking, and performance optimisation.
- Optimise website content, landing pages, and blogs to improve organic rankings and conversions.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Drive content optimisation strategies that support both traditional search engines and AI-led discovery systems.
- Implement and refine AEO strategies to improve visibility across answer engines and featured snippets.
- Develop GEO-focused approaches to ensure content is structured and positioned for generative AI platforms.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded from day one.
- Stay updated with search algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging AI-driven search behaviours.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
