At Onething, social media is not just about posting content, it’s about building a sharp, opinionated, and consistent voice in the design and digital ecosystem. As a Social Media Marketing Executive, you will manage and grow Onething’s presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Medium, and Substack.
You will be responsible for translating our ideas, work, and industry insights into engaging content that drives visibility, interaction, and traffic.
This role goes beyond execution. You will own the content calendar, collaborate closely with designers, and ensure that everything we put out is intentional, relevant, and aligned with our brand voice. Over time, you will also play a key role in promoting Onething-led initiatives such as community events, conversations, and design-led engagements.

- Own and manage the end-to-end social media content calendar.
- Plan, schedule, and execute content across platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Medium, and Substack.
- Work closely with designers and internal teams to brief, develop, and deliver content.
- Ensure consistency in tone, quality, and visual storytelling across all platforms.
- Create and publish engaging content (static, carousels, short-form videos, and YouTube formats).
- Write sharp, concise, and engaging copy tailored for social media.
- Edit and produce basic video content (reels, shorts, and lightweight YouTube edits).
- Identify trends, conversations, and opportunities within the design, tech, and digital ecosystem.
- Experiment with new formats and ideas to improve reach and engagement.
- Support and promote Onething-led initiatives such as community events, design conversations, and brand-led engagements.
- Continuously analyse performance and refine content strategies accordingly.
